STARS crystals begin their journey into the world from Itoshiro,
a settlement in Gifu Prefecture whose roots stretch back to the Jomon era.
At the foot of Mt. Hakusan, one of Japan’s Three Sacred Mountains,
the land transforms in winter into a silver realm blanketed in deep snow.
It is truly “another world,” untouched even by the cultural tides of the economic bubble.
Pure spring water flows through this sacred land,
where towering cedar trees have stood for thousands of years.
Since ancient times, Mt. Hakusan has been revered as a holy place
where the Water Deity dwells.
